SEATTLE CITY TOUR / PIKE PLACE MARKET
Wednesday, July 24
Known as the Emerald City, as well as Little Switzerland, Seattle’s fascinating tour will highlight the international district, named for its cultural diversity; Pioneer Square; the University of Washington campus; and a stop at the Government Locks and fish ladders to see the salmon through viewing windows. You’ll see mountain ranges, beautiful gardens, and millionaire homes. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the infamous, Pike Place Market. Opened in the early 1900s with a few farmers selling their produce, it’s now home to more than 200 commercial shops & restaurants, over a hundred craftspeople, dozens of farmers, and even street performers & musicians. Enjoy lunch on your own and browsing the shops of this well-known Seattle area. Don’t miss the flying fish!
Buses will depart the market at 2pm (for those just wanting a quick bite to eat) and 3:45pm.

SEATTLE CENTER / SPACE NEEDLE
Thursday, July 25
Seattle Center is an area of downtown worth hours of exploration. Pacific Science Center includes six acres of hands-on science fun, two IMAX theaters, the Tropical Butterfly House, Live Science Stage shows, and much more. The Space Needle has been Seattle’s icon since it was built for the 1962 World’s Fair. Take the elevator to the top of the Needle to see an incredible 360-degree view of Seattle's most striking scenery that you can't experience anywhere else. Impressive views of Mount Rainier, Elliott Bay, Lake Union, the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges, and downtown Seattle tempt you to leisurely stroll the Needle's upper perimeter. The Experience Museum Project, a museum dedicated to music memorabilia, is also on the property. The Chihuly Glass Museum contains the largest collection of Chihuly glass in the world. Admissions vary for the various attractions, and are not included in the tour price. Please consult the websites shown elsewhere to plan your day and budget. After approximately three hours to explore the area and enter the attractions of your choice, the buses will head to the waterfront area for lunch on your own. Your tour escort will point out many options.
